Dionaea muscipula ‘UK Sawtooth II’ is a distinctive Venus flytrap cultivar known for its unique saw-like teeth along the edges of its traps. This clone produces relatively large traps and often upright leaves, giving the plant a bold and eye-catching appearance.
Like most Venus flytraps, it thrives in full sun, nutrient-poor acidic substrate (such as peat), and should be watered with demineralized or rainwater.
All products are described as accurately as possible. The attached photos are labeled and described – some show the appearance of mature plants or traps (which may differ from those of younger specimens), while others present randomly selected plants from the batch offered for sale. Slight variations in appearance may occur due to the seasonal growth cycle (phenology) of the plants. The most important is description with size of offered plant – diameter or height.
Please note that during the winter dormancy period, the above-ground parts of the plant may die back. Please note that during the winter dormancy period, plants may produce smaller leaves compared to the summer season, and their overall shape may change, making them appear smaller. This is a natural process and does not affect the plant’s health. However, the plants remain healthy and will regrow vigorously from the rhizome in spring.
For international orders, plants are typically shipped in a sealed plastic bag with a small amount of moist material to maintain humidity and ensure safe transport. To reduce shipping costs, plants are usually sent without pots or substrate. Upon request, pots and substrate can be included; however, this will increase the shipping cost due to the additional weight.
