Nepenthes veitchii
23,00 €
Nepenthes veitchii is a spectacular tropical pitcher plant species native to Borneo, best known for its exceptionally wide and decorative peristome surrounding the pitcher opening. Depending on the individual form or locality, the peristome may range from green and yellow to orange, red or strongly striped, making this species one of the most distinctive and ornamental Nepenthes.
The plant produces thick, leathery leaves and robust pitchers that become increasingly impressive as the plant matures.
Reccomended for professional collector’s plant for terrariums, greenhouses and other growing setups designed for tropical carnivorous plants. With bright light, high humidity, good air flow and stable growing conditions, Nepenthes veitchii can develop beautifully colored and highly decorative pitchers.
