– diameter of plant is about 20 cm
– at least 8 big pitchers
– pot diameter 12 cm
A few adult plants in one pot.
An interesting variety of S. purpurea, growing in the nature more south then ssp purpurea, forming a very broad, not too high pitchers, staining nicely on pink-reddish color. This species doesn`t produce a lot of digestive enzymes, often in their pitchers is water from rainfall. This species often grows naturally in the grass and other vegetation overgrown them, and therefore does not need to their development so much light as other species of Sarracenia.
