Young plant diameter 7-10cm with at least 5 leaves and 2 pitchers. Juvenile pitchers of ampullaria could be similar to Hookeriana pitchers, its normal, they are different when plants is older.

This species produce green, spherical pitchers with narrow lid. Ampullaria is one of most attractive and popular species for advanced carnivorous plants breeders .


Ampullaria is lowland species of Nepenthes, love warm terrariums or paludariums with high humidity.
