Drosera prolifera is a species with the original leaves – kidney shaped and a diameter of 2 cm, located on the long and thin stalk. Often creates flower shoots that fall to the ground, from the ends of shoot can grow new plants. Due to the fact that in the wild population of the Queensland group sundews live in covered with moss or a sandy shores of forest streams – to reflect natural conditions, you can use live sphagnum moss. As a substrate we used a mixture of peat without fertilizers (pH 3.5-4.5) with sand / perlite and sphagnum moss dead in equal proportions. It likes high humidity – we recommend especially for warm and humid tropical terrariums.
