We got interesting information from the forum administrator rosliny-owadozerne.pl Krzysztof Ciesielski – that this species is able to successfully wintering in the mini bog in the Polish climate, although under the condition that it will grow in the living sphagnum moss. Attempts to acclimatise D. binata in mini bogs, in which was used as a substrate peat – failed. This information is not applies to forms whose leaves are many times branched (e.g. multifida, Marston Dragon), because they are by nature more thermophilic.
