Interesting sundew from the north-eastern part of the state of Queensland in Australia, where it inhabits rainforests, eucalyptus forests. Creates a lanceolate, oblong leaves. Adelaide sundew has much less light requirements then most of sundews, likes the increased humidity – recommended especially for warm and humid tropical terrariums. Due to the fact that in the wild population of the species live in covered with moss or a sandy shores of forest streams – to reflect natural conditions, you can use live sphagnum moss. As a substrate we used a mixture of peat without fertilizers (pH 3.5-4.5) with sand / perlite and sphagnum moss dead in equal proportions. At higher light leaves can stain on red color.
