Nepenthes glabrata

Nepenthes glabrata is a beautiful and compact tropical pitcher plant species known for its narrow leaves and small, attractively speckled pitchers. Its delicate appearance and colorful traps make it a particularly interesting Nepenthes for collectors.
Compared with many other pitcher plant species, Nepenthes glabrata grows relatively slowly and remains fairly compact. This makes it a good choice for smaller terrariums, paludariums and indoor growing setups where space is limited.
With suitable humidity, bright light and appropriate temperatures, this species develops numerous elegant pitchers and can become a very attractive centerpiece in a collection of tropical carnivorous plants.
