The attached photos are often labeled
and described (click to zoom icon)– some show the appearance of mature plants or traps
(which may differ from those of younger specimens), while others present randomly selected
plants from the batch offered for sale. The most important information is always the product
description, including the stated minimum plant size (diameter or height).

Since we aim to provide conditions in our greenhouse that closely resemble those found in
nature, the appearance of the plants for sale may differ slightly from the photos due to
seasonal growth cycle. Pitcher plants are usually at their most striking in summer, showing
their best coloration and producing the greatest number of pitchers. In autumn, the plants
gradually prepare for winter dormancy; plants are also attractive, but the tips of older leaves
may turn brown, and some of the old pitchers are removed for aesthetic reasons. During
winter, most pitcher plants may have their dead leaves trimmed away, with only a few young
leaves remaining, which may still develop in the case of mild winters. In spring, the plants
awaken once again, and after proper overwintering they are full of energy, producing fresh
pitchers and often flowers as well. In this period, pitcher plants offered for sale are usually
already attractive, though they may bear fewer pitchers, and differences in coloration may be
visible—young leaves are typically less intensely colored than older ones. With time, the
plants reach their full display.
For international orders, plants are typically shipped in a sealed plastic bag with a small
amount of moist material to maintain humidity and ensure safe transport. To reduce shipping

costs, plants are usually sent without pots or substrate. Upon request, pots and substrate
can be included; however, this will increase the shipping cost due to the additional weight.

Sarracenia Eva is a medium sized plant, often one semiadult and few smaller plant in one pot.
Unusual hybrid, forming very interesting, a medium-sized cups in interesting whitish-pink color and slightly triangular lids.
